RockinBoat's first commercial product being brought to market through TEKNIKEM, Rockinboat's chemical division, is RonJohnŽ - a patented solvent invented to remove polymeric coatings and adhesives from substrates. It is a safer and more environmentally friendly replacement for processes that use toxic or flammable products like methylene chloride, MEK, alcohols, and other distilled solvents; and better still, RonJohnŽ is a plug in alternative that is effective at room temperature. RonJohnŽ is as effective as its conventional counter-parts on polyurethane, epoxy, and powder-coating. It dissolves polycarbonate and polyurethane foam.
